Monkey Chopstick Case

I'm not sure if you can tell the difference but I've added the LOD effect on to two objects. So when it's farther away you can see the object with less detail and the closer object with more detail. I still have to add in the engraving and still play around with the bump mapping but hopefully you can't tell the difference!

This first image is to show what Andrew taught me of how to make the texture appear from far and then disppapear as the camera gets closer.

I've tried to add in my own three-point lighting but for some reason I can't get the bottom one to work. I also need to work on the bump mapping for the case on the right. I want the monkey to look engraved into the box.

Monkey Character

So, for the past two weeks I've been working on my monkey character and I'm actually liking how it's turning out. I really need to get a hang of the texturing so I can make it look even better. I'm not sure on the typology of the back, does it look too flat?

character will be done by this week!!!

I will be done with my model by this week and get started on my UV ing. But I'm liking how my hand is turning out. I just have to look at the details in the body.

DANG IT!!! It's slowly coming along. I liked the previous body better but the head and hands are coming along better.
